DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project concerns the identification, preparation and monitoring of a project on energy saving and environmental emission reduction in Lithuania. The identified project is financed through the bilateral aid Programme PSO. Eventually a project was formulated and approved on energy saving measures mix of Technical Assistance and equipment in a dairy plant. MOB prepared the tender documents for this project.

2. Study on the dredging and disposal of polluted sediments, port of Klaipéda
CLIENT: Senter, Unit Midden en Oost Europa
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project concerns the development of a plan for environmentally safe dredging and disposal of the heavily polluted sediment of the port of Klaipéda and the preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment of this dredging and disposal work. The short term objective of this study aims at a practical solution for the disposal of the contaminated sediments in the port near the proposed location of the container terminal. On the long term, all dredged spoil should be prevented to get contaminated in order to allow for dumping in the Baltic Sea. This project is executed with Haskoning as main contractor.

3. Dredging and soil restoration Klaipéda port
CLIENT: Klaipéda State Oil Terminal
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Feasibility study concerning dredging along quay walls and soil restoration on the land side of these quay walls at Klaipéda State Oil Terminal. Assistance was given in the field of civil engineering, soil mechanics and dredging. This project is executed with Haskoning as main contractor.
