DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Detailed design and construction of a chromium recovery installation at the biggest tannery in Nicaragua (BATAAN tennery in Leon). The work included supervision of works, management of test runs and training on plant operations.

2. Design and construction of chromium recovery installation for relocated small tanners in Leon
CLIENT: Municipality of Utrecht
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Detailed design and construction of a chromium recovery installation for a new (comprising of 30 small relocated tanneries in Leon, Nicaragua). The work included supervision of works, management of test runs and training on plant operations.

3. Design and construction of chromium recovery installation for four medium sized tanneries in Leon
CLIENT: Municipality of Utrecht
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Detailed design and construction of chromium recovery installations for four medium sized tanneries in Leon, Nicaragua. Following the success of the previous pilot project (see above) the remaining bigger tanneries were convinced to implement chromium recycling at their plants. The work included supervision of works, management of test runs and training on plant operations.
